Video Grabber / Video Downloader does not collect, sell, store, or transmit personal information to the developer.
The extension inspects the active webpage after user interaction in order to locate supported video, GIF, and media stream sources. This processing occurs locally in the user's browser.
When the user explicitly requests a download, the extension may access media files or unencrypted HLS segments directly from the website hosting the media.
Supported HLS processing, media assembly, temporary processing state, and download progress are handled locally in Chrome.
The extension does not collect analytics, browsing history, personal information, authentication information, financial information, location information, or private communications.
The extension does not download or execute remote JavaScript, WebAssembly, or other executable code.
The extension does not bypass DRM, encryption, paywalls, authentication systems, or access controls.
